A joint programme has now been established for all countries covered by the programme. New partnership countries have been added, and the project period may vary from one to three years. In the case of cooperation with Eastern Europe and Central Asia, it should be noted that partnership arrangements must include a management and coordination committee. This committee is to comprise politicians and municipal officers from the partner municipalities, county councils and regions concerned. All projects that receive ICLD funding are to be audited after the close of the project period.
